A mid-tier law firm has taken its partner count to 42 by finalising its merger with a Brisbane-based boutique and via its latest promotions round.
HopgoodGanim Lawyers, which has offices in Brisbane and Perth, has completed its merger with CRH Law, which specialises in elder law, the not-for-profit sector, aged care and retirement law.
The newly merged entity will operate under the HopgoodGanim brand, and will allow the mid-tier to “provide enhanced services to our private clients and those in not-for-profit, retirement living and aged care sectors”, it proclaimed.

A small business owner in California who handcrafts wooden flags with religious and patriotic themes was shut down by several Big Tech companies earlier this year for allegedly violating community standards.
James Staake started his business, Your American Flag Store, in 2018. He expected some obstacles along the way but didn t anticipate becoming another victim of Big Tech censorship.
During an interview with Newsmax in February, Staake said he didn t notice the restrictions against his business at first. Then the traffic on his website and sales suddenly stopped, prompting him to look further into the matter.

This year, the Pence Gallery was forced to cancel its annual Garden Tour due to COVID restrictions. But as with art itself, there are work arounds and this year we adapted the Garden Tour into an outdoor Art in the Garden event.
Twenty artists created wonderful art to enhance gardens and delight garden owners. There were over 200 items available, and their sale helped not only local artists, but the Pence Gallery itself. Upstairs in the Andresen Learning Center, the “Natural Abundance” exhibit featured garden paintings from 18 artists. Fresh bouquets of flowers, fabulous theme baskets, plants, and free seed packets from Hedgerow Farms, all contributed to the festive theme.
