Comedian Guy Williams is heading to Queenstown’s Kinross Winery for a night of silliness and stand-up.
While Penny Ashton popped up as part of the International Film Festival, channelling Jane Austen on Thursday night, Williams not to be confused with
Mountain Scene’s hysterical reporter by the same name graces the vineyard on August 5 with his ‘All Night Long’ show.
Kinross general manager Christine Erkkila says it hasn’t been the easiest 18 months for the community, ‘‘and we think that laughter is the best medicine at the moment; laughter and
wine, actually’’.
Previous stand-up shows by Tom Sainsbury sold out in hours and Erkkila is stoked to be bringing more high-calibre comedy to the Whakatipu.
