Nearly 240,000 Pennsylvanians possibly lost their homes on February 31, but some local lawmakers try to ensure that it won t happen.
More help is on the way for homeowners and renters who struggle in paying their bills due to the COVID-19 pandemic as new legislation calls to extend the eviction moratorium. According to CBS Philly via MSN, Several Pennsylvania state Senators will join forces to save thousands of residents from losing their homes in the midst of the pandemic.

Europe and regions from Canada to Hong Kong suspended travel links to the U.K., as a full lockdown came into force in London and southeast England to contain a mutation to the coronavirus.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has asked the three airlines that fly from the U.K. directly to New York to add the state to a list of 120 countries requiring pre-boarding Covid tests. He said he believes the new strain is already circulating in New York.

More than 16 million Britons are required to stay at home as a full lockdown came into force Sunday in London and southeast England, part of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s effort to contain an “out of control” mutation of the coronavirus. The U.K. reported the most Covid-19 infections since the start of the pandemic.
European countries responded by suspending travel links. The U.S. doesn’t need to take that step for now, a member of the White House virus task force said, but Governor Andrew Cuomo expressed concern that untested passengers from the U.K. could be carrying the mutation to New York.

(Bloomberg) New York reported more than 10,000 new Covid-19 cases statewide for the second consecutive day, as the first Covid-19 vaccine expected to be distributed in the U.S. was backed by a government advisory panel.
While awaiting a vaccine deployment, Virginia announced a limited nightly stay-at-home order after record daily cases this week. Ohio is extending its curfew throughout December, which Governor Mike DeWine called an “extremely critical” month. Pennsylvania is temporarily suspending indoor dining at bars and restaurants.
France, the country with the most confirmed cases in Europe, backed off plans to reopen theaters, museums, cinemas and sports facilities next week.
