NEW YORK (1010 WINS) A scissor-wielding serial thief stole five cell phones valued at a total of $7,000 from five different stores in the Bronx and Manhattan, the NYPD said Thursday.

Nearly a month later, around 7 p.m. on March 18, the thief walked into a T-Mobile store on River Avenue in the Melrose section of the Bronx and removed a $1,300 Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra cell phone from a display, the NYPD said.
