Garth Jay Muxlow, 49, previously from Wootton near the Mid North Coast town of Forster, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Sunday for offences which dated back to 2016. Muxlow had earlier been convicted in his absence of intimidating a bus driver in Wootton in mid-2016 and driving while his licence was suspended. According to court documents, Muxlow, now living in the Byron Bay region, initially came to the attention of police because of his behaviour toward a school bus driver working for a Bulahdelah-based bus company. ....

Daniel Caine Holland appeared in Tweed Heads Court on Monday by videolink from custody in Clarence Correctional Centre. He pleaded guilty to charges of affray, using an offensive weapon to commit an indictable offence, damaging property and failing to appear. Court documents revealed the Tweed Heads South man had stayed the night at his partner-of-seven-months house when he woke up early on October 18. When Holland s partner asked him to keep the noise down because of her sleeping grandchild upstairs, he became argumentative and threw her phone at the wall, cracking it. ....
