Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man who escaped police custody in Darwin earlier today.
32-year-old Kelvin Bruppacher-Stuart escaped from police custody at the intersection of Cavenagh Street and Garramilla Boulevard at 10:45am.
The man was last seen running past St Mary’s Cathedral towards Tomaris Court/Daly Street at 10:48am.
Kelvin was in police custody in relation to a disorderly behaviour incident in which workers were assaulted in the CBD area yesterday.
Kelvin Bruppacher-Stuart is described as being of Indigenous in appearance, solid build, and 170cms tall with a shaved head, no shoes or shirt and at the time of the incident was wearing only khaki coloured shorts. ....

The NT Opposition has lambasted the Gunner Government after the Health Department spent thousands of dollars to lease a fake Christmas tree at its new headquarters despite repeatedly overspending its annual budget by millions of dollars.
