Rest mulls options for SEA Gas pipeline, tests buyer appetite Save Share Thereâs arguably never been a better time to sell Australian infrastructure assets â and industry superannuation fund Rest is thinking about getting in on the action. It is understood Rest is considering options for its 50 per cent stake in SEA Gas, which owns and operates a 700km underground high pressure natural gas pipeline and transmission system from Port Campbell in Victoria to Adelaide. The SEA Gas pipeline was constructed in the early 2000s to transport gas from Victoria to Adelaide. Â James Davies JGD Rest is understood to have hired investment bank Lazard for help with the review, and has had its bankers quietly testing the appetite of potential buyers to see whether it get enough interest for an auction. ....

EleXsys Energy, trading in Australia as Planet Ark Power, said on Thursday it had completed the $A6.55 million capital raise, the funds coming mostly from investors in Australian and the UK, where eleXsys was currently in the process of being incorporated. eleXsys said the capital raise would to allow it to establish a strategic base in London, from which it could expand into key global markets including in North America, the EU, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. ....
