A BOLTON man has been found guilty of kidnapping and attempting to sexually assault a woman at knifepoint in the parish church grounds.
A jury at Bolton Crown Court took less than three hours to convict 41-year-old Jonathan Kabala of kidnap, kidnap with intent to commit a sexual act, threatening the woman with a knife and possessing a knife, following the terrifying incident in the grounds of Bolton Parish Church on October 2 last year.
Jurors had previously heard how the woman was on her way to work when Kabala ran up behind her and dragged her into the grounds of Bolton Parish Church, threatening her with a knife. ....
