Zander, Calumet HS Senior in Final Vote for a nonprofit dedicated to helping student techs achieve their
professional dreams has recognized Zander Worm a Copper Country ISD Automotive Technology and
Calumet High School senior as a finalist for a prestigious national award. Worm was chosen as 1 of 10
finalists amongst high school and community college students nationally. He was nominated by CTE
Automotive Technology Instructor, David Narhi, and chosen out of a pool by industry expert judges.

SARASOTA, Fla. Kevin James Roberts, 61, of Sarasota. formerly of Calumet, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack at his home on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Kevin was born on February 21, 1960, to James and Karen (Aho) Roberts in Calumet. He attended the Calumet schools and graduated in 1978 from Calumet High School. Kevin worked as a cook at various local restaurants and then headed west with friends, working at an oil refinery in Wyoming.
Returning from Wyoming, he was a chef at several Midwest restaurants before moving to Florida where he met the love of his life, Melissa (Missy) Ireland. They were married on April 4, 2004 – 4/4/04. In 2005, they welcomed Marissa (Sissa) into the world. Missy and Sissa were the light of his life.

ANN ARBOR Morgan J. Peterson, 58, a resident of Calumet, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
He was born on November 1, 1962, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to the late Donald Peterson and Beverly (Pitts) Peterson.
He graduated from Calumet High School in the Class of 1981. Morgan was a military veteran having served for five years in the United States Air Force.
He worked in construction much of his life and enjoyed applying his passion and skills in building as well as collecting and refurbishing antiques, adeptly transforming the old into vibrant and new. He will be greatly missed by those he touched with his understated humor. Morgan is survived by his life partner, Dan Dubey; his mother, Beverly Peterson; his siblings, Kurt (Jerri Gruber) Peterson, Marsha (Steven) Daniels, Scott (Amy Pace) Peterson, and Nancy (David) Regis, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
