SAN ANTONIO – KSAT will stream a community conversation and Juneteenth Celebration panel on Friday, June 18, at 6 p.m.
The 90-minute event will feature community leaders discussing the Juneteenth holiday and what it means to them personally, as well as the relevance to the organizations they run.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio municipal election is slated for May 1, the first Saturday in May.
On the ballot will be a rematch between two mayoral candidates, all 10 city council seats, a proposition aimed at repealing the police department’s collective bargaining right and a proposed change to the City Charter.

The slate of candidates for San Antonio mayor and the city’s 10 council seats on the May 1 ballot is set.
After Friday’s deadline for filing, city records showed 81 people are running for a spot on the City Council in a race defined by the human and economic toll inflicted on the city by COVID-19 as well as a reckoning over the power of the San Antonio Police union in the wake of a public demand for law enforcement reform.
