A person was recovered from a river in a Cardiff park after a large scale emergency services operation this evening. But their condition remains unknown.
Police and the ambulance service both attended Pontcanna Fields from around 5.30pm onwards where by eye witnesses confirmed that a person was recovered from the River Taff, on the same side as Cardiff Riding School.
The person was recovered from the river by winch onto a stretcher . ....
