Businesses caught in the middle of a stoush over the future of two crumbling buildings on Subiaco’s main street have flagged taking legal action against the local council.
It comes a week after Sanur took the City of Subiaco to court in a last-minute bid to avoid fixing the Hay Street properties, which the developer wants to demolish to make way for a $250 million retail precinct but the council wants to preserve.

A developer fighting with the City of Subiaco over the future of two crumbling buildings has taken matters to court in a last-minute bid to avoid repairing the properties it wants to demolish.
An urgent hearing was scheduled for Friday afternoon by Western Australiaâs State Administration Tribunal after Sanur applied to restrain building orders the council issued on Thursday.
Hay Street has been closed off since February amid fears two buildings would collapse.
