The health unit opened its newest vaccination clinic at the Earl Nichols arena in south London on Tuesday, a location that will be able to administer about 2,000 shots each day at full capacity.

The Middlesex-London Health Unit will be opening its fourth mass vaccination clinic later this month, as officials plan to open appointments to all adults by month’s end.
The health unit will open the newest vaccination clinic at the Earl Nichols arena in south London on May 25, a location that will be able to administer about 2,000 shots each day at full capacity.

Shirley Flaats usually helps people in and around Glencoe with job searches, resumes and basic computer skills.
The last few weeks, she’s added vaccine hunting.

Flaats wears many hats at the Quest Centre, a non-profit community resource centre in the rural Middlesex County community west of London. Her title is client experience facilitator, but she said that’s everything from bookkeeper to dishwasher.
Her focus recently has been on booking vaccine appointments at the London and Mt. Brydges mass vaccination centres. “We’re getting a lot of people needing help,” she said.
