Former Diss Express editor Kay Hunter dies after contracting coronavirus

Tributes have been paid to former Diss Express editor Kay Hunter, who died last week after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
Mrs Hunter was admitted to Norwich University Hospital on New Year’s Eve after a fall at home. After being diagnosed with the virus, she died last Wednesday. She was 92.
She leaves a lasting and tangible legacy in Diss, both with her work at the newspaper and various community groups.

Nebraska woman has Ratzlaff bracelet


When Richard Ratzlaff was in Vietnamese captivity for 2,522 days, bracelets were made in honor of him, now one person with one of those bracelets is looking for someone who is interested in them.
The Bracelets for Vietnam Prisoners of War were made by college students Kay Hunter and Carol Bates Brown, according to the National League of POW/MIA Families.
Richard Ratzlaff was featured in the American News on Nov. 14. He spent almost seven years in captivity as a prisoner of war after being shot down during the war. He was held in North Vietnam and was eventually released during Operation Homecoming. ....

Robert Daniel Housley, a true pillar of society, family man, founder and owner of Housley Communications, left to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 15th peacefully in his home. 
Bob was born August 21, 1939 in Carlisle, Arkansas to Harold and Nettie Housley. The second of six children, he devoted himself to the family rice and soybean farm as well as his Valley View State Championship Basketball team. Bob went on to acquire his pilot’s license at the ripe age of 17, which would prove to be a lifelong passion he would continue into his eighties. 
He served in the National Guard during the 1957 Integration Crisis at Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, aiding in the protection of the first integrated students in the United States.  ....
