Hospitals in the Shannonside Northern Sound region have had to cancel a number of services today as a result of the cyber attack. All radiology appointments, with the exception of urgent maternity cases, some CT and MRI services have also been affected have been cancelled in Sligo, Roscommon and Cavan hospitals and some outpatient appointments have been rescheduled. Now that the weather is improving and more of us are exercising, the MIUs are seeing an increasing number of patients who have fallen and twisted or sprained their ankle or knee.
