New Delhi: The Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) has decided to postpone its controversial ‘cow exam’ which was scheduled for February 25. According to the
Indian Express, the decision was taken a day after RKA chairman Vallabhbhai Kathiria left office at the end of his two-year term.
Announcing the postponement, a notice on the RKA website said, “Please note that online Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Exam /Pratiyogita which was scheduled for 25th Feb 2021 including Mock Examination on 21st Feb 2021 has been postponed.” No reason was provided, and no new date for the exam was announced. ....

A day after the Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) chief made an exit, the scheduled Cow Science’ exam on February 25 got postponed indefinitely.

NEW DELHI: The Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) has postponed the cow science exam which was scheduled for February 25 day after its chief, Vallabhbhai Kathiria exited his office.
According to its website, it stated, Please note that online Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Exam /Pratiyogita which was scheduled for 25th Feb 2021, including Mock Examination on 21st Feb 2021, has been postponed.
It is to be mentioned here that the exam was supposed to be conducted by the RKA, which had been set up under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, for the dissemination of information on economic, scientific, environmental, health, agriculture and spiritual relevance of indigenous cow in In ....

Academics hit out at curbs on webinars, order on cow exam | India News


NEW DELHI: The Indian Academy of Sciences and Indian National Academy of Sciences have written to education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal seeking withdrawal of the government’s guidelines asking universities to seek prior permission for conducting international webinars on certain subjects, saying such restrictions could halt all scientific discussions.
Besides, UGC’s letter to vice-chancellors on the promotion of an examination on the cow has also attracted the ire of a section of academics. The online Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar Prasar Examination is scheduled on February 25.
In an official order on January 15, the education ministry had said that clearance from the external affairs ministry will be required for holding international conference, seminar, workshop or training on security of state, border, northeast states, UTs of J&K, and Ladakh or any other issues related to India s internal matters. ....
