[Watch] Post-Party Chat To iRadio in the Morning 09:56 Monday, 10 May 2021 Share it POST-PARTY CHAT TO iRADIO IN THE MORNING Brian and Kayte caught up with Post-Party who are a four-piece Indie Pop band based in Dublin. Post–Party consists of Keelan O’Reilly, Peter Toal, Colin Peppard and Matthew O’Reilly. The band have just released the video for their brand new single ‘Wasting Time’ – which is an iRadio ‘I Love Irish’ track this month. The group formed in 2018 and have been going from strength to strength, performing at major festivals such as EP which band members Keelan and Colin both agreed was a real ‘pinch me’ moment. Drawing from episodes of their formative years, Post–Party imbue their guitar pop with a honed youthful energy of catchy hooks and bouncy lyrics. iRadio in the Morning caught up with one of iRadio’s I Love Irish artists of the month – Jessica Hammond who is celebrating the release of her first single of 2021; Video Call, a retro-pop dance floor gem written about the challenges faced by the world at large during the pandemic.
‘Video Call is about the interpersonal relationship challenges we have all faced over the last year in the context of how friends, family and strangers across the whole world are socially distancing from each other. It’s about how we all crave humanity to be saved at this moment in time. I wanted to show how the world has come to a stand-still, but as the track develops, I wanted to show how we have also united and come together in order to save lives.
