Salvation Army says thanks to volunteers, contributors and bell ringing sites | News, Sports, Jobs

Mar 2, 2021 Deloris Richards and myself, Dennis Ozmun, are the coordinators for the Salvation Army in Lyon County. 2020 was a year like we have never experienced before. Our bell ringers were only about 40% of what we normally had, however, Lyon County stepped up to the plate and we had our best year ever with $40,358. About 88% of that stays right here in Lyon County. Thank you! We take this opportunity to thank all of you that made our year such a success, but I personally need to thank four special people. I was quite sick for nearly all of this year’s campaign, and Deloris Richards and her husband Dick really stepped up and pulled her share and much of mine. I thank my wife Judy, who took care of most all of the scheduling. I also thank our Sheriff Eric Wallen, who on his day off placed the kettles in various business for me. Thank you!
