The grants were awarded to professors who were teaching classes that had already been adapted to an online platform, but especially to those who teach undergraduate courses that satisfy general education or major requirements and/or courses that tend to have large waitlists. According to UCR Keep Teaching, based on “the investments in technologies, such as Canvas, YuJa, Slack, and Gradescope,” UCR is now able to support more in-depth and higher quality online courses.
