Another Big 8 crown for Quincy as girls track win conference title By Jim Measel May 27, 2021 | 5:15 AM CONCORD, MI (WTVB) â They may need a new trophy case at Quincy High School after this week. The Quincy Community Schools Facebook page posted âHome of CHAMPIONS!â on Wednesday after the Quincy girls track team won the Big 8 Conference championship. This followed conference titles won by the Quincy girls softball and boys golf teams on Tuesday. The Quincy girls finished first in the conference meet hosted by Concord as they won four of the five field events. That strong showing helped the Orioles compile 161 1/3 points followed by Jonesville with 112 points and Homer with 65 1/3 points. Bronson was fourth with 57 points while Union City finished eighth. Quincy winners were Nikkia Cronk (100 and high jump), Sophia Snellenberger (discus), Anna Richer (long jump) and Anna Turner (pole vault). Quincy also won the 400 relay. Bronson winners were ....

He played that game with his right forearm in a cast. And he made the play of the game and maybe the season when he chased down, and tackled, a Camp Point Central running back who had broken into the open field with time winding down in the first half. Leading 8-6, the Panthers were driving. On first down at the 44, Camp Point’s Evan Bell burst through the line and sprinted toward the end zone. Musch ran after him, dove and grabbed at his foot.
