(KPLC) -The massive stimulus package signed into law last week has been celebrated by many, but not everyone is on board. The plan found opposition from Louisiana lawmakers like Senator Bill Cassidy. In a conference call Tuesday, Cassidy spoke candidly about a number of topics ranging from the debate surrounding distributing stimulus checks to inmates to Southwest Louisianaâs current battle with hurricane recovery. Cassidy says this latest round of stimulus doesnât specifically lay out plans to address recovery needs, but a future bill may. ....
