COVID-19 cases lead to closing an RSCC building Special to The Oak Ridger Due to a recent increase in self-reported COVID-19 cases on the Oak Ridge Branch Campus, Roane State temporarily closed the Coffey-McNally Building as a precautionary measure. The building closure took effect at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, a news release stated. The reported cases appear to be isolated and all those affected are observing quarantine. The Coffey-McNally Building will be thoroughly cleaned before its planned reopening on Monday, Jan. 25, the release stated. The Goff Building will remain open. Classes scheduled to meet in the Coffey-McNally Building during this time will be held virtually. Additional instructions regarding these classes will be provided to students by instructors.
