Lettie Kendall, a former county commissioner and longtime educator, has also died.
Radford ran for public office in 1998 and served two terms as a county commissioner. In 2006, she was elected as county trustee, serving three terms before retiring in 2018.
“Brenda Radford was a long-standing public servant who dedicated 43 years of her life serving Montgomery County,” Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett told The Leaf Chronicle. “Ms. Radford valued the concerns of citizens in each of her roles and was always working to help financially vulnerable individuals who were seeking property tax relief.”
