The gubernatorial transition team for Governor-elect Greg Gianforte on Thursday released the roster of his staff members and their salaries.
Gianforte, Montanaâs current member of the U.S. House of Represenatives and a former high-tech entrepreneur from Bozeman, won election November 3, defeating Democratic Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney. His victory made Montana the only state in the nation that saw a change of party control in the governorâs office in November.
He will be sworn in at the Montana State Capitol on Monday, January 4 at 9 a.m. His running mate Kristen Juras will be sworn in as the lieutenant governor. ....

HELENA - Governor-elect Greg Gianforte announced his appointment of Major General John âPeteâ Hronek to serve as Montanaâs Adjutant General and lead the Department of Military Affairs.
A release from Gianforte says General Hronek is a command pilot with over 4,100 hours in flight who serves as Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, Air Education and Training Command, where he assists in formulating policies and programs that impact the nearly 110,000 members of the Air National Guard.
