It refers to when a candidate applies for a job, gets connected with the recruiter/HR team for an interview, and then at some point in the process (before or after the interview), the recruiter stops replying to the candidate. Sounds ridiculous? It is. While it may be impossible to personally reply to every candidate that applies for a job, I have yet to understand why it is impossible to reply to a candidate once they have already been asked to interview. And recruiters are not the only ones who ghost – candidates do as well. Either way, it doesn’t look good. If this has ever happened to you, in your work
