College Magazine Places Hunter Fourth Among "Top 10 Best Classics Schools"

In assessing the nation’s top schools to learn the classics,
College Magazine cites Hunter’s study abroad opportunities, vast library collection, and “history with teaching Latin,” while noting the College’s specialized class offerings “ranging from subjects like Latin Pedagogy and Women in Classical Antiquity, to Papyrology and Social and Economic History of the Ancient World.”
Looking to post-graduation, they highlight the Department of Classical Studies’ “Careers for Classicists” guide and how Hunter s “professors stand clear in their efforts to help you after you graduate.”
