The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) says it will not pursue allegations against Pembroke family physician Dr. Brian Baxter whose hearing before the Discipline Committee was originally scheduled for this month.
On Friday, April 30, the College held a brief virtual hearing to make the announcement where it was explained Baxter was resigning his practice and stepping away from medicine.

Toronto Dr. Christy Natsis, who received a six-month suspension from practicing dentistry in relation to her conviction in the death of an Ottawa man, received a scathing reprimand by the Royal College of Dentists and Surgeons of Ontario last week.
The reprimand will be part of her official record for as long as she practices dentistry. It contained statements citing her behaviour as disgraceful, dishonourable, unprofessional and unethical.
