Diskussion Knapp ein Jahr nach dem Einzug von Brillenpinguinen in den Zoo Salzburg gibt es nun erstmals Nachwuchs. „Unser erstes Brillenpinguin-Küken ist jetzt etwa drei Wochen alt und hat schon kräftig an Gewicht zugelegt. Man kann zu unserer großen Freude sagen, es wächst und gedeiht wirklich prächtig“, informierte Geschäftsführerin Sabine Grebner am Dienstag. Einen Namen erhält das Küken erst dann, wenn feststeht, ob es ein Männchen oder Weibchen ist. Die Elterntiere „Dorie“ und „Samaki“ reisten im vergangenen Jahr mit mehreren Artgenossen aus Amsterdam in die neue Anlage nach Salzburg. Mit der Brutpflege sind die beiden vertraut, sie haben auch schon im Artis Zoo für Nachwuchs gesorgt. Zunächst wog das Salzburger Küken kaum mehr als 100 Gramm. Dank der Fürsorge der Eltern, die es mit hervorgewürgtem Fischbrei füttern, hat der kleine Frackträger bereits an Gewicht und Größe zugelegt. In den kommenden Wochen wird das Küken aus der Bruth ....
