WORTHINGTON As the “Amazing” Worthington City Band heads into its last stretch of concerts for July, it tackles a range of music at tonight’s 7:30 p.m. concert in Centennial Park.
Led by director Mike Anderson, the band’s selections include Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4,” “The Candy Man” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” the Big Band tune “Sentimental Journey” and a lower brass feature entitled “Them Basses.”
Serving as emcee will be Worthington’s public safety director Troy Appel, while Kalea Appel will provide intermission entertainment.
