SCHOOL Year 2020-2021 is the first in history for the Department of Education to fully finish without the learners experiencing the traditional face-to-face learning, where the modality heavy on modules dominates the educational system.
As a sort of review, the following modalities are currently being implemented in the public and private schools in the country.
Distance Learning. This refers to a learning delivery modality where learning takes place between the teacher and the learners who are geographically remote from each other during instruction.
Modular Distance Learning. Learning is in the form of individualized instruction that allows learners to use self-learning modules (SLMs) in print or digital format/electronic copy, whichever is applicable in the context of the learner and other learning resources like Learner’s Materials, textbooks, activity sheets, study guides, and other study materials. ....

Discount tickets to Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for June visits on sale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – On Saturday, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum will reopen its doors to the public.
If you missed the chance to snag tickets for the reopening, have no fear. At 10 a.m. on Friday, discounted tickets to visit the museum on select dates and times in June go on sale.
Pre-reserved tickets will be available for June 1, 2, and 5.
Thanks to a generous donation, AAHOM has been able to temporarily reduce its regular $16 admission to visitors.
Here are the new admission prices, according to the museum’s website:
$12.50/person
$3 admission if you have EBT or WIC cards

This decision was taken to protect the health of students and teachers. Education institutions, then, announced online classes. However, now, students are facing so many problems when it comes to taking online classes. The main issues are the unavailability of the internet and an acute shortage of uninterrupted electricity. Those areas which have good internet connectivity are not spare from loadshedding woes.
It’s easy to instruct students to take online classes, but no one thinks about the difficulties that students face during online learning. Due to these unresolved problems, a majority of students are losing their interest in studies. Financially strong students may not have any issue with online learning.
