COLOMBO (News 1st);  The Director General of Health Services on Friday (14) confirmed 29 deaths that occurred from 9th to 14th May, due to Covid-19 virus infection. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 921.
01. The deceased is a 71 year old female resident in Awissawella. She died on 13.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in Teaching Hospital Peradeniya. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.
02. The deceased is a 74 year old female resident in Nuwara Eliya. She died on 13.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in a private hospital in Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia. ....

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services on Sunday (09) confirmed 15 deaths that occurred from 06th to 09th May, due to Covid-19 virus infection. Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 801.
01. The deceased is a 52 year old female resident in Bandaragama. She died on 09.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in Base Hospital Horana. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia and Hypothyroidism.
02. The deceased is a 76 year old female resident in Ampitiya. She died on 08.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in Teaching Hospital Peradeniya. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid infection, Sepsis and pneumonia. ....

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed thirteen (13) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Monday (03) . The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 709, said the Government Information Department.

The deceased is a 44 year old Female resident in Divulapitiya. She was transferred from District General Hospital Kegalle to the Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura where she died on 01.05.2021. The cause of death is mentioned as acute Covid pneumonia. ....

The Director General of Health Services confirmed five (05) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Friday (12).
Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 384 and the details of the deceased are as follows:
01. The deceased is a 63 year old male from Kotagala. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 and transferred from Kotagala Hospital to the District Hospital Nuwara Eliya where he died on 09.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as acute Covid pneumonia. ....
