Vandals target Lafayette church with anti-police graffiti KMGH and last updated 2021-07-13 00:06:20-04 LAFAYETTE, Colo. â The church that hosted funeral services for Arvada Police Officer Gordon Beesley was targeted by vandals, who spray painted anti-police graffiti and damaged glass panels. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday at Flatirons Church, 355 W. South Boulder Road, in Lafayette. Police were called after church officials discovered the damage. Vandals spray painted the anti-police acronym âACABâ and the words âbe gay do crime!,â âBE TRANS THROW HANDS,â and âNO GODS NO MASTERS,â along with anarchy symbols, on the front-facing wall of the church building. ....

LOUISVILLE A local bike seller in search of a new home and a Florida spa looking to expand into Colorado are each requesting tax and fee incentive packages from Louisville to help their operators set up shop in the city. Louisville Cyclery LLC has a storefront at 1032 E. South Boulder Road, but the owner of the building is planning to redevelop the property. Owner Greg Jones has identified a nearly 3,100-square-foot space nearby at 889 E. South Boulder Road to move the store and expects to spend $200,000 on renovations, according to a memo from Louisville’s economic vitality office. LOUISVILLE Alfalfa’s Market Inc. will close its lone store in Louisville this week, marking the end of one of the original natural-foods grocers in the Boulder area and a swift collapse of the brand in recent weeks.
