Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], May 3 (ANI): Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and State head for COVID task force Dr CN Ashwatha Narayana on Monday directed the senior officials in charge of the COVID management to plug in the loopholes of helpline 1912.
The direction has been given to create an automotive and transparent bed allot system, and to develop an Integrated Index App, within a deadline of two days.
Following his being appointed as the chairperson of the reconstituted task force, he convened a meeting on Monday evening with senior officials who are leading the COVID management. ....

Conducting online exams not possible: Deputy CM Ashwath Narayan

Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, who is also the minister of higher education, made it clear on Monday, that it would not be possible to conduct examinations through online mode.
While speaking to reporters after convening a meeting in view of the spurt in COVID-19 cases, he said, that there was demand from some students and parents to conduct examination through online mode. But he said, It would not be possible to conduct
online exams in the present system. Examinations will be conducted in offline mode only and only a few deemed universities may be able to conduct exams through online mode. But it will not be possible in the government set-up.” ....
