14-year old Aman Raj, son of Shashi Raj Sinha and Madhulika Sinha of Patna, was declared the Golfer of the Year by the Patna Golf Club for the year 2009-2010.
Playing 1 over the course (71) in the 37th Annual Patna Golf Championship, Aman grabbed the PKJ Menon Cup in a field of over 120 golfers from Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Delhi.
Aman currently ranks 6th in the nation in below-15 junior category.
With a series of accolades already in his bag at the tender age of 14, Aman recently became the runners up in the All India Juniors Golf Championship held between Dec. 29, 2009 and Jan. 1, 2010 at Poona Golf Club in Pune.
