Ripple Music, Ōtautahi s Pieces Of Molly have announced an all guns blazing launch tour of Aotearoa for their forthcoming single Dead Sky , the track that in fact secured their affiliation with the Californian doom imprint. Teased with Roger Dean-eque sci-fi artwork by Steven Yoyada, Dead Sky drops on 21st May, signifying the dawn of a cacophonous new era for the riff-worshipping four piece. The team of Ewen Glasgow, Sam Kubiak and Kurt Fleming will be joined at Pōneke s Meow and in POM s hometown by fellow guitar wranglers ....
“It is amazing,’’ he said. “It was pretty surreal because I have grown up playing gigs. I have always been a musician since I was 13 or 14. “We have played a lot of gigs and travelled long distances to play to three people. And then sometimes we have had amazing, packed-out gigs.” He discovered they had been signed in an email and quickly called his bandmates, guitarist Sam Kubiak, bassist Doug Stewart, and drummer Kurt Fleming.
