(WKBT) – The 13th annual Three Rivers Roleo is underway at the great river landing off the Mississippi and Black Rivers in Onalaska. Professional log rollers competed yesterday while amateurs also gave it a try today. Mor than 30 professional athletes attended the event with five past and present world champions. Event organizers were happy to have the public back in person this year. Last year many events were canceled due to the pandemic-mandated off-season. “Year three we added the pros and then we just continued to grow. We had five years on Fox Sports. which was amazing for the sport amazing for this area. and now the new thing in 2021 was yesterday with the professional boom running” said Three Rivers Roleo director, Katie Burke. ....
