For the first time in its 17-year history, Family Network of Wyoming has two female leaders of color, and half of its board members are women.
The nonprofit located at 1029 44th St. SW in Wyoming has a mission “to provide dignity and love like Jesus, bringing people together to build stronger, healthier communities” with a goal of “fostering a caring, kind and inclusive environment” to ensure that its clients “leave feeling dignified and respected.”
Family Network offers a food pantry; mobile food trucks; no-cost lending of durable medical equipment such as crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, bathroom aids and shower chairs; a Christmas Store; and additional events, resources and services to about 11,000 people per year.

Corsica - Clara Noteboom, 100, died at Good Samaritan Society in Corsica on Monday, December 14, 2020. Celebration of life will be held at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10:30 AM. The family would appreciate all that attend wear masks. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Clara Noteboom (De Vries) was born April 7, 1920, in Douglas County, SD to Gerrit H. and Allie (Menning) DeVries. She attended country school near Corsica. She married Andrew (Bud) Noteboom on June 20, 1939 and they shared 64 beautiful years together. To this union two daughters were born: Shirley and Nancy.
Clara was a lifelong member of Grace Reformed Church, where she was active in Ladies’ Missionary Society, and taught Bible school and Sunday school. She was a 25 year member of the Corsica Extension Club and Friendship Club. In honor of her 100th birthday, an Executive Proclamation from the State of South Dakota named April 7, 2020 as Clara Noteboo
CORSICA, S.D. - Clara Noteboom, 100, Corsica, S.D., died Monday, Dec. 14, in Good Samaritan Society.
A celebration of life will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica. Masks are required.
