Road blocked – crane needed to remove truck

Motorists are advised to expect delays in Halcombe, ManawatÃ¼ after a logging truck went into a ditch.
It happened on Mount Stewart Road, just north of Mount Biggs School, around 1pm.
There are no injuries, however a crane is required to shift the truckâs trailer.
The roadâs closed between Ngaio Road and Sandon Road, and motorists are asked to use alternate routes while the truck is righted.

Motorists in the Manawatu are being warned to expected delays after a logging truck crashed into a ditch on Monday.
The incident happened around 1pm on Mount Stewart Road in Halcombe, just north of Mount Biggs School.
No one was injured in the crash, but a crane is required to move the truck s trailer, a police spokesperson said.
The road’s closed between Ngaio Road and Sandon Road, and motorists are asked to use alternate routes while the truck is righted. ....
