UK Fines Chinese Broadcaster 225K over Forced Confessions and Bias

The Chinese state-owned broadcaster CGTN has been fined £225,000 by Britain’s media regulator for its apparent bias in coverage of the pro-democracy Hong Kong protest movement and for airing alleged forced confessions on its airwaves.
On Monday, Ofcom announced that it would be fining China Global Television Network £125,000 for its failures in abiding by “due impartiality” regulations in the UK during five separate broadcasts concerning the Hong Kong freedom movement in 2019.
Another fine of £100,000 was imposed against the CCP propaganda outlet for violating privacy and fairness regulations during two reports from 2013 and 2014, which covered the arrest of British citizen Peter Humphrey in Shanghai, the ....

Nigel Farage Accuses British Elites of Covering up Chinese Takeover

Brexit leader Nigel Farage accused the British establishment of prioritising money over protecting the country from the “neo-colonialist” Chinese Communist Party after the revelation that UK schools were being bought up by the Asian nation.
Mr Farage said that the limited attention placed communist-linked businesses buying up British independent schools was a result of elites in the country including those in the civil service, the government, and in business being effectively bought by the communist regime which he described as “neo-colonialist” bent on “global domination”.
In a televised debate on Turkish public broadcaster TRT World, Farage said that it was down to “money, money, money,” adding: “you only have to look, for example, at Huawei… look at the people that have served on the advisory board since 2014, and what you’ll find are former big global businessmen, you’ll find former senior civil servants former political fig ....

CCP: UK's Call to Investigate Genocide a 'Shameless Imperialist Act'

A state-owned Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda outlet described British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab’s call for “urgent and unfettered” access to the Xinjiang region of China as a “shameless imperialist act”.
On Monday, Mr Raab called for United Nations investigators to be granted access to the province, alleging that the human rights abuses being carried out against the Uyghur Muslim population by the communist regime are happening on an “industrial scale”.
In response, the Chinese state’s most belligerent mouthpiece, the
