Staff report Clinton Twp. – One person is dead after a car collided with man operating horse-drawn farming equipment Friday on state Route 226 west of Newkirk Road. Eli A. Miller, 33, of Big Prairie, was killed in the crash, according to a news release from the Highway Patrol. According to the Patrol s release: Miller was operating a John Deere utility vehicle pulled by two horses when it was struck from behind by another vehicle. The impact sent Miller into the windshield of a 2008 Acura RDX. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner s Office. The driver of the Acura, Lisa J. Mast, 42, of Millersburg, was transported to Wooster Community Hospital. Mast was wearing her seatbelt. ....
