Jacqulyn Marshak
DATELINE – Jacqulyn (Jacki) Marshak, daughter of Louis and Sylvia (Gaier) Marshak, was born on Aug. 3, 1943 and passed away on Jan. 9, 2021, after a battle with COVID-19.
She leaves behind her sister Evelyn; grandchildren Ariella, Avi, Dovid, Yosef, Betzalel, and Yacov Shmuel (Strudel); and great-grandson Mikey; extended family in Israel; and many friends and students.
Jacki went to work early in the family business. She always wanted to be a teacher. She graduated UConn and Southern and started teaching in 1965. She taught for 38 years in Region 16.
She then subbed and tutored, most recently in Oxford. She had finished her 56th year of teaching. She was devoted to her students. ....
