윤 감독은 15일(현지시간) 칸 영화제가 열리는 팔레 데 페스티발 부뉴엘관에서 열린 시상식에서 시네파운데이션 부문의 2등으로 선정됐으며, 상금 1만1250유로(한화 약 1천500만 원)를 받았다. 매미 는 서울 남산 소월길에서 몸을 파는 트랜스젠더 창현을 통해 육체에 갇힌 성 정체성을 그리는 17분짜리 단편 영화다. 윤 감독은 소월길을 산책하던 중 친구에게 이곳에 한때 트랜스젠더 매춘이 성행했던 장소가 있다는 이야기를 듣고
