Detailed information can be found at coronavirus.data.gov.uk but at the time of writing, over 153,000 individuals have received their vaccination locally. I regularly liaise with the Chief Executive of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group, Jan Thomas to discuss the vaccination rollout in Cambridgeshire and across the region.

Published: 3:18 PM February 3, 2021    Updated: 4:47 PM February 3, 2021 A2B Taxi Cabs in Ely are raising funds to help provide between 250 to 500 journeys for elderly and vulnerable residents to and from their Covid-19 vaccination centre. - Credit: PA A taxi firm is raising funds to help provide free trips for residents to get their Covid-19 vaccine.  A2B Taxi Cabs in Ely has launched a fundraiser as part of their ‘Ely Cabs 4 Jabs’ campaign, where they hope to raise £5,000 to fund between 250 and 500 journeys for elderly and vulnerable residents going to a vaccination centre.  Funds raised will go towards trips to and from the Cathedral Medical Centre in Ely, St George’s Medical Centre in Littleport and the Staploe Medical Centre in Soham.

Having had his vaccine at 2.10pm on Sunday, he said: The whole experience can only be described as perfect.
