MIDDLEBURY-SOUTHBURYÂ â The Region 15 Board of Education, meeting Monday, March 8, set this yearâs graduation date as Friday, June 18, location and type of graduation to be determined by state Covid guidelines as the day approaches. School Superintendent Joshua Smith said the district will tentatively plan for a more restricted event, but will be flexible to return to a more traditional graduation if allowed. He said it was easier to plan for the more restricted activity and then go to a more open plan than the other way around. Members of the student services team made a presentation to the board on social emotional learning, a topic that has been much on the mind of educators throughout the country during this pandemic. ....
