The Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna state, Mr. SAMUEL ARUWAN has said that troops have rescued staff and family members who were kidnapped by gunmen in the Kaduna Airport staff quarters, recently.
He said at a press conference on Wednesday evening, that Governor El-Rufa’i was elated with the development.
According to him, “this briefing has been called to provide an update on emerging developments following the kidnapping of 10 citizens from the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters, Ifira, Igabi local government area.”

Ten persons kidnapped at the Federal Airport Authority Staff Quarters in the Igabi Local Government Area of the state by bandits have been rescued by the Nigerian Army.
The FAAN quarters is close to Kaduna International Airport.

Ten persons abducted at the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters have been rescued, the Kaduna State government has confirmed.
The state’s Commissioner for internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the victims were rescued by soldiers on Wednesday.

The Kaduna State Government said troops of the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, rescued the 10 victims kidnapped from the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters on March 6.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan made the disclosure at a press conference in Kaduna.
“It could be recalled that bandits breached the fence of the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters in the early hours of March 6, and kidnapped these 10 persons from two houses located near the fence.
“Precise details of the rescue location cannot be provided at this time due to operational expediency.” ....
