No Name Saloon is replacing the former Tipsy Toad Tavern, 609 W. Western Ave.
Mike Kordecki bought the restaurant in mid-April, adding it to the Hometown Hospitality collection that includes Smash Wine Bar, Marine Tap Room, Full Moon Diner, Pub 111, The Humidor and Whitehall Landing.
The building on West Western Avenue near Seventh Street includes an indoor dining area on the main floor and outdoor seating with umbrellas and string lights on the second floor. ....

MUSKEGON, MI – Chatter and laughter once again filled Lakeside Cafe, 46 Bar and Marine Tap Room as people flocked to the popular Muskegon establishments on Monday, Feb. 1.
For Gregory Baker, a long-time Marine Tap Room regular, hanging out with his friends at the bar like he used to “feels more like normality again.”
“I’m excited to be back and be able to socialize again,” Baker said.
Last week, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that restaurants and bars could reopen indoor dining Monday albeit with 25% capacity, a 10 p.m. curfew and other COVID-19 pandemic protocols. ....
