Opposition leader alleges Rs 12,000 not spend for protection of coastal areas Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 1 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan on Tuesday alleged that the Left Government failed to spend Rs 12,000 crore announced for the protection of the entire Kerala coast during the last five years. The Opposition leader said this while seeking the Leave of the House to move an adjournment motion in this regard by Congress member PC Vishnunath. The Opposition raised the issue following the widespread destruction along the coast caused by consecutive cyclones in the State. Responding to the matter, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said a lasting solution will be found to solve the issue within the next five years. ....
