Some suspected criminals paraded by the Commander, Major General Moundhey Gadzama Ali, at the command’s headquarters at Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on December 23, 2020.
 
Sixty-six suspected criminals comprising of kidnappers, bandits, armed robbers, gunrunners, bandit collaborators, and informants have been arrested by the personnel of the Nigerian Army Four Special Forces Command.
The suspects were paraded on Wednesday by the Commander, Major General Moundhey Gadzama Ali, at the command’s headquarters at Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.
Ali said that the command has carried out operations in the North West, North East, and North Central, South-South, South West regions of the country after receiving credible information which led to the rest of several bandits and the killing of some gun runners. ....

APC apologises to 'Kankara Boys', says incident won't repeat itself

The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has apologised to hundreds of schoolboys abducted on December 11 from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina state, promising that such an incident will never repeat itself.
The party in a statement on Saturday said it received with joy the release and return of the students on Friday.
In the statement which was signed by the Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC and governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, the party called on Nigerians not to lose hope in the capacity of government and its security agencies. ....

As the world marks International Migrants Day 2020, a research conducted by a United Nations agency the Missing Migrant Project of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), has revealed that more Africans have lost their lives to irregular migration in 2020 than any other people across the world.
According to the data, out of about 3,101 migrants who died globally in 2020 while trying to reach different international destinations through irregular routes, 1,483 of them were Africans.
The Media Officer for The Migrant Project, Tayo Elegbede, said the deaths were recorded across six regions of the world between January 1 and December 16, 2020. ....
