BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. â GAGE Center Coach and Owner Al Fong is turning local gymnasts into Olympians. We are extremely pleased and very proud as always. No matter if they do a good job, or don t do such a good job, Fong said, talking about his two female gymnasts who are competing this weekend in St. Louis at the gymnastics Olympic Trials.
He has helped produced several Olympians like Courtney McCool and Terin Humphrey. Now, Leanne Wong and Kara Eaker could join them as they compete this weekend.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â A 60-year-old grandmother woke up to frantic knocking at her Linwood Avenue home Sunday morning.
When she opened the door, there were three small children with a shocking message. They mama was dead. They mama was dead. Their daddy had shot their momma (sic). That s what they told me, the neighbor, who asked not to be identified due to a fear of retaliation, said.
She immediately took in the children and called 911.
