A Bayswater panel beater has been fined a total of $18,000 and ordered to pay $3,000 in compensation after pleading guilty to several consumer law breaches and operating without a licence. Raymond John Goodall, of The Force in Smash Repairs (deregistered), was sentenced at Perth Magistrates Court on 19 March 2021 following a prosecution by Consumer Protection. Consumer Protection previously issued a warning about Mr Goodall in September 2019 following several complaints from customers who had paid money but were still waiting for their vehicles to be repaired or returned – in some cases for more than three years. ....

18:54 EDT, 28 January 2021 A high level drug dealing father whose body was found in a wheelie bin in a dam was allegedly murdered five days before the grisly discovery, a court has heard. Todd Nathan Kiernan, 28, was charged with the murder of Dinh Lam Nguyen and faced Perth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon. The charge read to Mr Kiernan by Magistrate Joe Randazzo alleges he murdered Mr Nguyen at Mahogany Creek on January 20, the last day Mr Nguyen was seen alive. It was also revealed the pair were allegedly drug business partners and had met in jail when they were both serving time for meth dealing offences. ....
